Systematic listed equity portfolio management — for boutique DPMs, independent wealth managers, and family offices across Singapore, the UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong, and the UAE.
You studied for years to get your CFA.
Your tools made you an expert in VLOOKUP.
We built the alternative.
Systematic listed equity portfolio management — from universe screening to funded positions — for the teams that should be running mandates, not spreadsheets.

SGX, LSE, and NASDAQ, run simultaneously — 21 May 2026. Not a mockup, not three separate demos stitched together.
The Thinking · Vektor by InvestPuppy
We may have named our company after a Puppy, but we try not to treat you like a child.
You already know the problems we’re about to describe.
You’ve managed around them, worked with them, built workarounds for them. Some of them you’ve stopped noticing because they’ve been there long enough to feel permanent.
We were in the room. Sometimes as consultants. Sometimes embedded deeper than that. Always close enough to see the same pattern repeat across hundreds of teams.
What we kept seeing
Brilliant people. Serious mandates. A laptop open to a spreadsheet doing work it was never designed to do. Nobody said anything. Everyone knew.
The alternative was a Bloomberg Terminal at USD 32,000 a seat and a PORT add-on at USD 8,000 more — built for operations teams that boutique DPMs don’t have and can’t justify. The institutional tools existed. The institutional price tag came with them.
The thing that stayed with us longest: a portfolio manager who couldn’t show a client why their mandate held a position. Not because they didn’t know — they did. Because the decision trail lived in a spreadsheet that had been overwritten three saves ago.
Not a disaster. Just the slow friction of tools used past their limit.
At some point you stop watching and start writing things down. That’s where Unvarnished started — thirteen papers about what we saw, written before we built a single line of Vektor code. Not to criticise the industry. Because we believe a vendor that won’t name the problem honestly has no business claiming to solve it.
Our Better Way is what we did about it.
Neither series sells Vektor. They explain why it exists.
It’s probably the most honest thing on the site.
Unvarnished
What we saw. The specific failures and structural problems in institutional portfolio management — named before we built anything.

What we did about it. The architectural decisions, the engineering discipline, and the operational choices we made in response.

Honest by design
Built for teams responsible for other people's money.
And what it's not, just as plainly — see below.
What Vektor Is Not
An honest description of scope, limitation, and design intent. We believe you should know what this platform does not do before we tell you what it does.
Every signal, model weight, and allocation decision is documented and auditable. You see exactly what the system is doing and why.
No. We're telling you before you ask: IBKR integration is built and validated through paper trading — live execution begins with the first Proof Partner's first production period. Full detail on what's validated and what go-live requires: What Vektor Is Not →

Vektor supports the portfolio manager. It does not replace mandate interpretation, client relationship management, or regulatory judgment.
Systematic methodology is not a promise of returns. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Vektor uses machine learning for specific, defined tasks. It is not an autonomous trading agent.
Vektor covers listed equities. Fixed income, alternatives, and private markets are on the roadmap. Not at launch.
Vektor is a portfolio management workflow tool. Using it does not constitute a regulated activity. Discretionary and regulatory responsibility remains entirely with the licensed portfolio manager using the platform.
InvestPuppy and Vektor do not hold investment management licences. Regulatory responsibility remains with the licensed entity using it. Vektor’s AI governance framework is consistent with the principles published by MAS (FEAT framework), the FCA/PRA (UK), FINMA (Switzerland — nFADP/DSG), SFC/HKMA (Hong Kong), and DFSA/FSRA (UAE). Regulatory documentation covering MAS (PDPA, MAS TRM Guidelines), FCA/PRA, FINMA (nFADP), SFC/HKMA, and DFSA/FSRA is available on request.
Vektor is built for discretionary listed equity mandates. It is the wrong tool for mandates requiring judgment-based allocation across asset classes. If your mandate includes a listed equity component alongside fixed income or other assets, Vektor can manage the equity component as a distinct mandate — enquire and we will confirm fit.
Client data is held in AWS Singapore (ap-southeast-1) by default. Regional deployment to AWS London (eu-west-2), AWS Zurich (eu-central-2), AWS Hong Kong (ap-east-1), AWS Middle East (me-central-1), or other AWS regions is contractually specifiable at subscription — no additional cost, agreed at signing. If your mandate requires data to remain within a specific jurisdiction, confirm your region before signing and it is written into your Data Processing Agreement. Contact us to confirm the right configuration for your jurisdiction.
